My Africa Trip

Dear tumblr, My name is Sarah. I have been an advocate for social justice for about 5 years and my main focus of passion is children in East Africa. This summer I have been given the opportunity to live in Kenya with a non profit called Fikisha to work with boys who live on the streets in the slums of Nairobi. I know the non profit well as I have traveled the U.S. with them to raise funds for the work being done in Kenya. These boys we work with call themselves The Miracle Boys. We will be working with them on being positive influences in their community and helping them get off the streets and into church where they can get a free mea twice a week l and be around positive influences. We will also be teaching them English and how to write.
